Beauty is Pain. Pain, Beauty.

Hello my loves!

I told you in a recent post that I was having rhinoplasty on the 17th. I was there at the doctor's office by 6:30 yesterday morning. I was so very anxious and scared, but the doctor and his staff were wonderful. The last thing I knew, I was given an oxygen mask and then BOOM! I woke up and apparently, though I only remember certain flashes, threw quite an agitated fit. I remember flailing at the poor nurse and waving my head around while I cried. Ha ha! I awoke in such terrible discomfort and agony, and the feeling that my nostrils were filled with snot. But you can't blow your nose after a rhinoplasty, so it's been nothing but discomfort and pain since yesterday. And what feels like snot is actually copious amounts of blood. Sorry for the TMI! I am so grateful to have the pain medication, I'll tell you that much.

I won't have the cast off until next Thursday, but it's worth the wait. I am so excited about seeing the results, though I know I'll still have swelling and bruising. When I am finally de-puffed and ready to put my face on, I'll post before and after pictures for you.

My main reason for posting this is to let you all know I probably won't be very active on the blog for the next few days. I plan on doing a lot of sleeping and lazing around. I will be posting, but probably not very frequently.

However, I received the very generous offer from Misikko to review one of their curling wands. Expect that in the near future! They appear to be an amazing company and I am thrilled to have a new curling wand! The reviews of their products are stellar, so I expect to be blown away. My nose needs to heal before I can even think about fooling with my hair, but I should have a post dedicated to the wand and Misikko within a week or so.

Take Care
